Help! one side of my hair (in the back) is longer than the other!?

what do you do when your hair is semi-blunt and semi-layered and one side in the back is longer than the other? i dont wanna ask my hairdresser b/c she cuts my hair shorter than i actually want it, so now i can only do ponytails. this sucks. its just a little difference, so should i tell my hair dresser JUST CUT MY HAIR (ON THIS SIDE) AS LONG AS THE OTHER SIDE, AND NO SHORTER, AND DONT CHANGE THE LENGTH OF THE GOOD SIDE.)

My hair grows uneven too. Just tell your hairdresser to even it out when you go for a trim.

Yes i would do that so that it can grow back evenly....becuase it will only continue to grow lopsided
