Well once he said he went to get his hair cut and the hairdresser started to chat...he said shut up and just cut my hair lol....i told him thats not nice...but he said he was not in a mood to chat! well the hair dresser did shutup...i hate it also they try to chat to u like they know you.

i think it was harsh he could have just said im not in the mood to talk. and thats there job. i mean when you get ur hair done isn't it kind of relaxing. you are able to go in there and tell the about ur problems and they always agree with you which makes you feel better. and you dont have to pay a shrink. so while it might be slightly annoying thats part of their job and i do think he was a lil harsh

That's apart of being in a customer service environment. I worked doing customer service type work for years and it is supposed to create just an easier atmosphere, a more comfortable environment and it was horrible when I was confronted with rude customers who couldn't muster even a "hello" or "thank you". No, I don't think he was right, though I understand at times you aren't in a good mood as I get sometimes when I'm out, but it's the persons job to make sure you're comfortable and that just makes it hard for them so I try to put on my best face for them.

The only thing that annoys me that I'd had to speak up against is when people try to get in your business when it's none of their business in which case you can tell them to just stop talking. But otherwise I feel you should treat others the way you want to be treated and I'm sure if your boyfriend was that hairdresser and he was treated in that manner, he wouldn't appreciate it one bit.

Kinda, but I know how he felt. I've been to a couple barbers that start to massage my head. One guy had an electric massager and I think I hurt his feelings asking him not to use it on me, but 'sorry', didn't like it.
