Last week I got my hair cut, but I swear there are still split ends. The hair is dry and frizzy at the ends on the front (like my bangs) but in the back it's fine. Would the hair dresser really leave split ends??

usually..the style of your cut needs to be in a way that they will get rid of it. There are ways to prevent it but cutting those ends is the only solution to get rid of it. Not unless, your ssplit ends are on the upper part of your hair that;s why she did not get rid of it all..she doesnt want you almost bald!

the reason why you hair splits still is because your hairs split ends may have not been all cut off and many people don't know it but hair is made of protein, which is why after a hair cut you need a protein treatment. like skin when there is a wound open, it needs something to cover the cuticle which is the oter shaft of the hair up, which would be a scab or a blood clot. when you use a protein treatment it does the same thing closes up the cuticle or fills it in . you may find if you get a product with protein in it it will help, but if you don't get the splits off it will split all the way up to the root. go get it cut again and tell the hairdresser you want a protein treatmet,not a deep conditioner, a protien treatment, i know because i do hair .this helps ! trust me .

Well. Dear i have the same problem I got my hair cut and as soon as she cut my hair it went right into split ends. She was even shocked , she told me it was because of the water that we have we have hard water and its bad on your hair, my mom's hair is the same way.
