What is the difference between a point cut, slither and razored hair cut??

i have really long hair, and i want to get my hair cut a little. I am very low maintenance. I dont straighten my hair or anything, i take good care of it and I want to get a good haircut that will look good without the need of styling it. please tell me what would be best: fringe in the front that is razored, slithered or point cut??? what is least maintenace and what requires the most styling to look good? it seems that hair dressers often times want to razor hair...please help me....I also want nicole richie side bangs that are still long but angled to the side. So many times i got a bad hair cut and i blame myself for being unknowledged. this time i want to be happy so i want to ask for the right thing before i go...should i get layers?? what kind of layers are best??? please help. thanks~~

the best way to teach yourself about hair is to look these up on google.

not because i'm lazy, but because the answer spaces are small. and if i answer this i'm just going to get it from google too.

also look up face shapes and hair styles.

keep in mind that you get what you pay for. if you're paying for a Cheap hair cut it's going to look like a cheap hair cut.

if you are willing to shell out a little more money you're going to end up with a nicer hair cut. Because well trained stylists work for more money.

All 3 of those are for blending the layers a razor wouldn't work for curly hair because it would frizz it up slither cutting you slide the scissor down the hair and point cutting is focused mostly on the ends
