just tell him/her to use thinning scissors. it's not uncommon, and i don't think it costs extra. i've had it done and i paid the standard price. and it really helps it you have really thick hair!

yep, just say u want ur hair thinned, i have thick hair and like i always have to get it thinned

just ask him or her to use thinning shears. it's a special shear that takes the bulk out of your hair. they come in different sizes, depending on how much we need to take out of someone's hair. it's the easiest thing to do, and won't cost a bit extra :)
