I just cut my hair?

I asked the hair dresser to cut off 1/2 an inch and she cut off 4 inches of my hair!!! how long will it take for my hair to grow at least 3 inches?? and does anyone know any good hairstyles for hair that is longer than shoulder legnth but shorter than armpit leghnth???? school is going to start soon and I do not want to look like a fool. PLEASE HELP!!!!

I hate hair dressers. They always do that, like they are going to earn more money if they cut more hair. It happened to me too. Dont despair. Hair can grow faster than 1/2 inch per month, mine grows 2 inches per month. Let it natural, dont sraighten it, dont dye it, wash it every 3-4 days or how you usually do, treat it gently, play with it and massage your scalp. Healthy hair grows faster. It will soon grow back. Just wash it and play around with it until your eyes get used to it. You hands won't for a while but buck up and make the best of it! It happens..............let it only happen once, though.

Your hair grows 1/4 to 1/2 inch per month, that's it it's not gonna grow much faster than that, unfortunately. You can basically wear your hair the same way you wore it before, your hair is still long. You can wear it in a ponytail, messy bun, half up, clips, braids, basically whatever you want. Play with it you might find that you like it at this length, the more you play around with it the more you'll see what you like %26amp;/or don't like or what looks good on you. You could even try adding some curl, or if it's curly you could try flat ironing it straight, just have fun with it.

Aww, sorry to hear that the hair dresser cut off so much! The same just happened to me as well. My hair is about the same length as yours now. And for hair, it usually takes a month to grow half an inch of hair back. Well, even though your hair seems shorter than you expected, try spicing it up with some side bangs; I have them right now and they look really cute! You can try curling your hair and putting it in a nice ponytail. I hope my advice works for you! Good luck!

It depends on how fast your hair grows if it grow 1/2 inch a month it will take 6 months if it grows faster per month that it will take a shorter amount of time to reach 3 inches longer. A style you can probably rock is chop sticks in your hair, that way no one can concentrate to much on your hairs length. Good luck!
