I'm having my hair cut, I have really thick and long brown hair and quite a round/ heart shaped face and brown eyes..

Would layering it make it a bit thinner or feathering??

I think feathering is out of style. but you should consider getting it thinned out a bit. Itll make it easier to manage.

look at pictures of jennifer lopez or drew barrymore they have round faces and thick hair pick out a style that you like that they had done and show it to the stylist
