Is this a good hair cut explanation?

Okay... so far... I've had a pretty bad record at explaining haircuts. So I've been doing my homework. Hehe.

Anyways. I think I've decided on a medium-ish shag and was wondering if this would be a good explanation for a hair dresser/stylist.

I want a _____ length shag haircut, with choppy, uneven ends. Something I can give a "messy on purpose" look. I also want it to frame my face. etc.

I'm usually pretty bad at this, so any tips are appreciated.
