Tell me you worst experience from a hair dresser. I was just wondering if i am the only one that had a bad hair cut from a hair dresser,

My hair looked terrible.

I asked for waves and it got permed at one salon and had to wash it out immediently.

Then i asked for honey blonde and i got ash blonde.

Once a girl my daughter went to school with (but was not friends with) cut my hair. She said she was cutting it so I could "curl it for the holidays" for parties and such. It stuck straight up. There was NO curling it for months. Later my daughter said she had been in the hospital for "emotional problems" then later in jail for attempting to kill her boy friend. Never went back THERE I'll tell ya!

I have never personally had a bad hair cut ( mainly cause I really don't care about my hair) but my daughter and sister in law have every time they get their hair cut they cry when they come home because they cut it to short :)

when i was abt 9 or 10, my mom took me 2 this hairdresser who convinced my mom (someway) that i would look better with a new haircut. it was basically long from the front, then goes shorter as u go 2 the back till the back of ur neck looks like u had a marine's cut. i was so embarrassed 2 walk in public %26amp; always walked with my shoulders up like i had no chin so no one would see the back of neck %26amp; notice the horrible haircut.

I'd say it was me, I had my hair all fixed up and a few pieces of my hair just didn't want to act right, so I cut them, I had twigs of hair ticking straight up for a couple of month's........very embarrassing, won't do that again...LOL

Not much from a hairdress on my part but last week was my daughter's time for bad hair days (she is 11-years-old):

Her hair is even across - below her shoulders but she wanted bangs. So she just grabbed some hair %26amp; cut it above her eyebrows to make bangs. It wasn't even %26amp; looked a mess. I asked her if she cut her hair %26amp; she denied it until I found pieces of her hair in the waste paperbasket. So I evened her hair out as best as I could so it would look better.

A couple days later, she used my brush to dry her hair. She wrapped her hair around the brush so tight, it got stuck really bad. None of us could get it out. 3 hours later I took her to my hairdresser %26amp; she finally eased her hair out but also alot of her hair was pulled out in the process.

What a week!

Oh my goodness! I went and asked for a trim and she cut six inches off of my hair! Since then I have been very specific about what i want. I never want that kind of experience again!

I had someone I knew cut and dye my hair .. She'd been my hairdresser for years. My haircut was so uneven it was beyond noticable and the dye job washed out and left me with spots where my hair wasn't dyed correctly it also fried my hair ....

I went to Sallys and bought dye stripper for my hair stripped all the color out of it, basically so that my hair was white, then redyed it blonde, and took chops at my hair until it looked like the cut was suppose to be messy. Thank god I actually know how to cut and dye hair on my own otherwise it would have costs a fortune to fix all the damage

I was getting a perm and my stylist had her husband or soon-to-be-x show up in the middle of my hair getting rinsed and so they made this cute guy who I knew work there give my hair a rinse. So as I'm laying there I felt something go in my eye. I look up and there was the hose that washes your hair over my face and he on purpose gave me a facial bath with water.Thank goodness my stylist came back and finished my perm.

Another time the lady cut my hair way shorter than I wanted it and cut a whole section of my hair out and left me with a bald spot. I noticed it and I said "WTF did you do now I've got a bald spot, I demand a free haircut for this and one for the next time 2" I got my wish.

thank goodness those are the only 2 horror stories I've had in with my hair in a salon.

Party at a friend's, complaining about my hair, a young lovely says she can help me out as she does hair "all the time", I say "yes" just to have her closer to me (the absurdity of young lust), end result: my hair looked like a shingled roof. Lesson learned: don't mix alcohol, hormones, and a non-professional setting for a haircut.

I still wear a high and tight, so (for me) the difference between a good hair cut and a bad hair cut is about a week. Oh yeah, I cut my own too. I'll be damned if I'm going to pay $15 for someone to shave my head every couple of weeks.
