What can I do Please help ?

Hi im getting married in July and I booked an appoinment with a hair dresser that works from her house. I booked it last year and when I went to her last month at first she just cut my hair then she dyed it and I went yesterday to get my hair done in the style I would have for my wedding. The thing is she only tryed 1 style and it wasnt how I expected and she was like see you again on the wedding. Also when I first rang her she said for me to go 3 weeks before the wedding but I thought If I didnt like it I would be stuck for another hairdresser. But before I went to her I rang round every one and they are all booked up. and I dont know what to do.

Ive been trying to do it myself and Im rubbish I was hopeing to have loose curls or little waves just to look natural but as I have thick hair I just look like a fuss ball. I never have my hair down so wanted to have it down for my wedding as a change as most of my family hasnt seen be with it down for years. But it doesnt look possble

I totally know how you feel my hair is just like this, but I find if you straighten your hair than curl it it looks much better. What i do is wash my hair, blow dry it, then straighten it with really hot straighteners then i a bit of leave in condition on my hand and just slide it through my hair then comb it through it makes your hair feel lovely and it makes your hair look finner then get some curlers and curls your hair with them. I hope this works for you and that you have a lovely wedding. Good Luck

Hello honey, firstly take a deep breath - theres 2 good months yet - this is time to find whatever needs to be found!!

Ok secondly, from your message i gathered your hairdresser is dictating. dont let her - this is YOUR wedding, and if you want more than one trial than you bloody well have more than one trial. So ring her, tell her you didn't like the original style, your worried about not likeing whatever happens on the day and you want to try more out. She should be happy at 50.00 a time!

Im sure you will look beautiful on the day x

Ok well I've done this a million times on my friends going to special occasions and everything. What you need to do is start with is shampooing just a little of your hair with anti-frizz shampoo like hello-hydration but, just a bit! Then get one of those jumbo curlers and this is the important part you have to curl where you want to start on top just one curl, the leave a simple little gap, then after the little gap curl again and keep doing this faze till you think you've had enough curls. You want to this do this a lot before the wedding on that day though. I hope this works, and I hope you have a great wedding!

Go to a large bookstore %26amp; browse through loads of bridal %26amp; beauty magazines. Find 3-5 hairstyles you'd like for your wedding day.

Call the stylist you have booked %26amp; explain that you weren't satisfied so you need to see her again for a consultation. Bring the photos w/ you %26amp; ask for her input. e.g. Which styles would work w/ your hair texture %26amp; face shape? Which ones would hold up the best.

Bring photos of your wedding dress and the veil if you're wearing one. Also, bring your favorite magazines so you have them on hand if you two need to look at more hair styles.

If you're feeling better about the situation - then ask her to style your hair again %26amp; see how you like the results.

If you still aren't satisfied - start asking friends, co-workers, family members, etc. for recommendations. Remember to ask the people who are working on your wedding. (i.e. the people @ shop where you bought your dress, your photographer, etc.)

If you find a stylist you like %26amp; have tried out but he/she is booked on your wedding day - explain the situation %26amp; ask him/her to teach you how to DIY. Maybe you can even bring a skilled friend so you have backup. Then practice, practice, practice.

Also, send out an SOS to people who have hair that you like %26amp; good taste. Maybe one or two of them will be able to show you how to do your hair yourself or be willing to help you on your wedding day.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

you will need to have a little hair up to hold the tiara(THEY DONT GO ON LIKE HAIRBANDS) In and the veil .dont wash your hair on the day of the wedding,it makes it difficult tl deel with . you coulld try ringing the hairdresser she may do another consultation for free.

if you want to do your hair yourself, id straighten it the day before, maybe run the irons back over on the day .give yourself a side parting, slightly backcomb at the crown(just so your parting doesnt go all the way back )and twist small sections of hair pull back and secure at the crown loosely.
