Have you ever had a horrible hair dresser mess up your hair by shredding it?

I had my hair cut over a year ago. The stylist did this thing to my hair where she cut into my hair and shredded it, it looks stringy and frayed. I have layers and my hair is long,I don't want to cut my hair short. Should I just start having my hair trimmed? I already know one trim will not get all the ugly part off .What would you do? Please help.

Thanks in advance.

Have you ever had a horrible hair dresser mess up your hair by shredding it?

I would try getting it trimmed once a month. It will eventually grow out. Also, start going to a male hair dresser. I've been going to the same guy for over 10 years now. He told me if you're a woman, to always go to a male hair dresser, he will always make sure you look your best, a woman hair dresser will make sure she still looks better than you.

Have you ever had a horrible hair dresser mess up your hair by shredding it?

trim it....but if your not doing it....tell the hairdresser EXACTLY how you want it...my hairdresser once cut too much off....btw there is no way to cut your hair wrong

My hair dresser's husband died in a car accident...?

right before Christmas. I've been going to her for about 15 years. I sent her a card, and did as the obituary in the paper said to do, I signed our condolences in the online guestbook for her husband. I'm not good with this sort of thing, and didn't really know what to say. I also didn't want to impose by calling her, or stopping by. Did I do the right thing? Also, I'm needing my hair cut really bad. Would it be cold to call the salon to see if she's there? If not, how do I go into asking her to cut my hair. This may seem stupid, but I'm at a loss here, and I thank you for any advice you can give.

My hair dresser's husband died in a car accident...?

Sounds like you did everything right. How did you make appointments to see her in the past? Do the same thing...or just call the salon and make an appointment with her through them...that's how you initially started seeing her...

Yes, she's going through a hard time, but as a friend %26amp; client, if she is working, I'm sure she doesn't want to lose your business.

If she's not available this time, go somewhere else, and in a month or two when she's back, continue seeing her again.

My hair dresser's husband died in a car accident...?

Well, she most likely did have to go back to work. There's nothing wrong with calling the salon and asking whether she's back.

My hair dresser's husband died in a car accident...?

Well find some one else to do it,or ask her if she would do it?

My hair dresser's husband died in a car accident...?

just get it cut by someone else- for all you know she;s porbably greeiving his death so- you're gonna have to go with someone else or you'll seem like yoou're being selfish.

My hair dresser's husband died in a car accident...?

sounds like you did the right things. Call the saloon and check her status. I 'm sure that they'll be able to advise you better than anyone online.

My hair dresser's husband died in a car accident...?

You should call and make an appointment, the more normal things are for her now the better she will be.

My hair dresser's husband died in a car accident...?

First off, Dont worry about it

you could have called, but you didnt have too

next, it isnt fair for her to lose her husband and a customer

you should keep going there, and just let the past be past

My hair dresser's husband died in a car accident...?

If she's still doing hair, just go and get your hair done. Just don't bring it up to her b/c she might be still bottling up feeling and you don't want her to start crying and not finish your hair... May-be doing hair is her therapy right now...I think you should call to see if she's still working.

My hair dresser's husband died in a car accident...?

there is other hair dresser in the world so just call and ask

My hair dresser's husband died in a car accident...?

just call the salon and make an appt, ask if your friend is available and see what they say.

My hair dresser's husband died in a car accident...?

You should absolutely call the salon. Surely she needs the money now more than ever. Plus, you treating her as a friend will make her feel human again. Tell her how you feel, and if she wants to talk about it, she will. Otherwise, she might appreciate taking her mind off of it.

My hair dresser's husband died in a car accident...?

My sister also lost her husband last year. A person does need time to mourn their loss.

You might have to use another stylist. Otherwise, call and just ask to speak with her. If she is there they will give her the phone or they will tell you she hasn't come back to work.

If she does answer just tell her that you would like to schedule an appointment with her.

My hair dresser's husband died in a car accident...?

You should call and get an appointment with her, and when you get there and she starts doing your hair just talk to her and ask how she is doing. My mom died when I was in the 11th grade and I was afraid that people would feel bad for me and they wouldn't talk to me, but when I did get to school people walked up to me and asked how I was and it made me feel better that someone was actually thinking about me.

My hair dresser's husband died in a car accident...?

you sent her a card, which shows that you took the time and did a caring gesture. I'm sure she appreciated it. Just give her a call and see if she's working. I don't see what you could've possibly done wrong.

My hair dresser's husband died in a car accident...?

you should really consider having your hair cut with another hairdresser! I understand that you have been seeing her for fifteen years, but give the woman a break her husband died~ if anything I would call her to see how she is doing (obviously not great) but you get the point! by calling her you should be able to find out wether she is back to working or not! Good luck! whatever you do do not call her and ask her for a haircut! plus she might even offer it if you call her to check up on her!

My hair dresser's husband died in a car accident...?

call her at her house to say hi and check how she is doing, dont mention anything about your hair, then call the salon to make an appointment with her for your hair...

My hair dresser's husband died in a car accident...?

I would recommend calling for an appointment and acting as normal. death is something very hard to deal with and we all deal with it differently, but it is very important for "normalcy" life goes on.

My hair dresser's husband died in a car accident...?

I would call the shop and see if she's working and make an appointment. If she's working, when you go and see her, be very friendly. Ask how she's doing and tell her how sorry you were for her loss. If she feels like talking she will open up. The best way you can help is listen and ask questions. If she doesn't open up, change the subject to a pre-thought of topic. If you live in a small town, something in the town that's going on. Or a topic everyone loves to jump on, the presidential candidates. What ever you do, just visit with her. Talking will help her, even if it's nonsense talk.

Experience, lost a husband too. It helps to talk when the moment and the person is right. It helps to just visit when its not.

My hair dresser's husband died in a car accident...?

What I would do is first call her and tell her about how bad you feel about what happend. You could go take her out to lunch with her to make her feel a lot better. While you are talking to her about stuff joke around about how..... your hair looks horrible then ask her if she's up to cutting your hair.

My hair dresser's husband died in a car accident...?

If the 2 of you have become friends then its important to call on her at home and talk with her or just listen to her. She may be lonely as people tend to feel awkward where a death is co ncerned, as in not quite knowing what to say so they put off visiting . Saying nothing, a hug can do it just as well , that will work.also You may discuss the work issue at the same time, it would give a topic to start a conversation and see what happens.

My hair dresser's husband died in a car accident...?

Call the salon and make the appointment with her. You did the right thing. You didn't say if you and this person were good friends, in which case a call would have been nice but if she was just cutting your hair for a long time, you did right sending the condolences the way you did.

My hair dresser's husband died in a car accident...?

You let her know you had her in your thoughts %26amp; that was sweet of you. Trust me, you wouldn't be imposing if you gave her a call %26amp; asked her if she's up to having some company. If she says yes, then maybe you could stop at the bakery on your way to her house %26amp; pick up some baked goods to take to her. If she's not up to company, then tell her maybe another time. If you go to her home, do not ask her about cutting your hair or she may think that's the only reason you stopped by. I'm sure in visiting with her or chatting on the phone, she'll let you know when she's going back to work. Forget about your hair for the moment %26amp; be there for your hairdresser. She'll be so grateful.

My hair dresser's husband died in a car accident...?

Wow, that is tough. Having lost a husband unexpectedly, it is never an imposition to inquire on how someone is doing. Do not be surprised if she is taking some extra time off. At the same time do not be surprised if she is back to work.... she may need something to fill the time. Go ahead and call the salon, ask how she is doing. If she is back to work go on and schedule an appointment, it is likely to do her good to have some of her old faith fulls there. If she is not back just let her know you are thinking of her and that you will temporarily let someone else take care of your hair.

You did the right thing by offering your condolences.

You might also see if there is any 'donation' as she may need assistance at this time.

When you get to see her again do not be afraid to just listen to her.

Under no circumstances should you say anything like "He's in a better place." or You're young you'll find someone else... Believe me people can and do say these stupid things.

Search your heart, be kind, and don't worry about being an imposition, people in this position need to know they are thought of.

My hair dresser's husband died in a car accident...?

you should call the salon and ask if shes able to cut her hair when shes cutting your hair casually get into the conversation about her husband and ask if shes ok trust my my dad died when i was in 3rd grade and i didnt want people to not talk to me and im sure she wont want people to not talk to her either cuz she will feel alienated just tell her that you care about her and you want to help

My hair dresser's husband died in a car accident...?

Just contact her and give her your condolence and let her know that if she's ready. You would like to have her cut your hair.

My hair dresser's husband died in a car accident...?

That is unfortunate, but a bit egocentric that you are asking a question like this.... it is sad that someone died, really, but I don't know him and I can't pat you on the back for it so cry yourself to sleep.

Going to the hair dresser today. Need some help.?

Hi. I'm going to the hairdresser today just to get fly away strands of hair cut and split ends cut and I also want my hair layered a bit but I want barely any length or heaviness off my hair. How would I ask the hairdresser to do this? Usually when I ask they always cut it too short or thin it out too much.

Going to the hair dresser today. Need some help.?

Explain it to her/him just like you did here!

Going to the hair dresser today. Need some help.?

Noo the hair dresser wrecked my hair!!!?

Did hair dresser over charge me?

Today I got a perm from a place in a mall. Their sign said 'perms $65 and up.' I asked how much a perm for me would cost, and was told probably $65 as my hair isn't too long, about mid collar length.

The stylist gives me the perm, then asks if I want any cut off. I tell her yes, and tell her how much to take off.

Afterwards I go up to the counter to pay, and am shocked when I'm told the charge is $95!!! I ask why, if the sign says perms are $65, I'm being charged $95, and am told 'the perm was $65, the haircut was $30.

I've gotten perms about twice a year for the past 15 or so years, and every time they cut some off, and never ever have I been charged extra for a hair cut. Have a just been fortunate all these years?

My money's kinda tight right now, and I was happy to give myself a treat via the perm. But I thought I'd only be paying $65 + $15 for tip, but instead I paid the $95 and gave a $10 tip. I was kinda upset when I left.

What's been your experience? Thanks

Did hair dresser over charge me?

Some salons do this - perm = 1 service %26amp; the hair cut = a 2nd service. I've had a similar experience %26amp; just never returned to that salon.

The best way to avoid such situations is to ask if there is any extra charge. I think that most people are shy about asking or assume that if the stylist offered then it's included. I also wonder if stylists are under pressure to increase their revenue %26amp; take advantage of this.

BTW, you may want to consider going to training nights or modelling nights at upscale salons. Services are offered to clients at a nominal fee or for free. Such events allow junior stylists hone their skills under the supervision of senior staff or allow them to demonstrate new techniques.

Did hair dresser over charge me?

sounds right to me. 65 is the perm price- it obviously did not include the cut. you need a suga daddy

Did hair dresser over charge me?

Wow...any salon I've worked in included the haircut with the perm.

She should have stated the whole price before the service. Most professionals would. It's sneaky and wrong, seeing as you asked the price of the perm. She should have told you the price, and then added that a cut would be extra.

Next time make sure to ask if a cut is included in the price.

Did hair dresser over charge me?

I am an ex hairdresser. Yes i think you were over charged. In my past experience the cut was included in the perm charge. The only thing that would let the salon that over charged you off, would be if they had a separate price for the cut under the perm price. I always get them to right down my quotes and explain anything that may be extra. Sorry about your bad luck, just think, Karma! It will come back to them big time!

Did hair dresser over charge me?

I always thauth that the air cut was included with the perm. In my knowledge it would be $65.00 unless otherwise said on the wall somewhere air cut extra..Secondly if you say that your money is tight I would not give a $10.00 tips. Do you know of First Choice Haircutters, you dont need appointment for hair cut and it is only $10.00 but you do need an appointment for perms....I dont go to salon it is too expensive and you get the same service with pros at First Choice,,it is very popular here in Canada.

Money Saving tips on Afro American Hair Styling?

Im going to be in a wedding in a couple of weeks and I wanted some advice on what would be a cheaper choice for getting my hair done professionally. Cutting it in particular, I figured I could just relax it at home since thats what I have been doing for the past 5-6yrs. What I really want to know is if I relax my hair at home, should I have my hair cut befor or after I relax ? OR should I just scroung up the money and have the hair dresser cut, perm, and press my hair all on the morning of the wedding? If so, about how much will this cost me?

Money Saving tips on Afro American Hair Styling?

As far as when to relax your hair you want to do it before the cut.

I would not normally suggest it but if you are having it colored or styled later you do not want to style it before you relax it.

Also by relaxing it first your scalp will have settled down and not be so sensitive when you have your style done.

Again I would not usually advice this but it has to do with the order of events and not committing to too many treatments in one day.

There is no way it will be affordable if you have all the treatments done at once.

I would call the salon and ask what they charge for a relax, cut and style.

They may offer a slight discount or include a cut and style with the relaxer so ask them first.

If is say $100 dollars for all three treatments and $80 for two it might be worth it to let the salon do the whole job.

You know how your hair responds to relaxing as you have had it done before.

I am not sure I would wait to the last minute in case you are not happy with the results.

Get it done now or at least do you relaxer now and the stylist can press it or blow dry it to give you the texture and style you need to look marvelous at the wedding.

Money Saving tips on Afro American Hair Styling?

u should cut it after u relax it

Money Saving tips on Afro American Hair Styling?

You should cut it after you perm it. One question though, why would you need to press your hair after you've relaxed it? You're just begging for damage that way. You should be able to get a perm, cut and style for about $100.

Money Saving tips on Afro American Hair Styling?

relax it yourself save some money..........then go and get it cut

Money Saving tips on Afro American Hair Styling?

Continue to do your hair yourself, do you really want to cut your hair for a wedding? The maintenance after that will be consistent and expensive.

I never wear my hair down?

Okay, so for the last 5(maby 4?) years i have worn my hair up. And theres a pretty traumatic story behind it all.. when i was 10 i decided to get my hair cut to my shoulders, and the hair dresser cut it into a mushroom cut (at my ears!!) and since then ive grown it out, and only wear it up. So, im comfortable with it down when im by myself and stuff.. but with people im sooo self concious about it(and i don't know why, because all my friends and people that know me say it looks better down).. i know it looks better, but i can't seem to do it.. in the past 2 years ive worn it down to dances and stuff, but i could only handle at most 30 minutes.. Also, one of the times i decided to wear it down it completely frizzed up, and there was nothing i could do... i just got it cut to past the shoulders with alot of layers and i %26lt;3 it.. but i cant bring myself to wear it down!! What is something i can say to myself to have confidence when its down? and what should i do about this problem?

I never wear my hair down?

Dude, I'm like you too. But, it's all about habit. Use a headband so it's out of your face and try it for 21 one days. (that's how long it takes to create a habit). You'll be wearing it down in no time. Plus, less breakage from rubberbands-your hair will be healthier. Cheers!

I never wear my hair down?

omg i haven't worn my hair down in lk 6 years but this year i wor it down to a school dance but i ended up putting it back up i always wear it down after i take a shower and when i straighten it but i lk can never wear it donw in public.... Report It

I never wear my hair down?

well if you know that people think it looks better down then maybe you should trust them. You even said your self you think it looks better down so just give it a chance. If you start to do it a little more then you'll get the hang of it and it wont be so hard to do....Good luck hun:)

I never wear my hair down?

I know it's easy for people to say oh just put it down and you'll feel fine, and i kind of have a slight problem like yours. I hardly ever wear my hair down because i'm scared that it will get really frizzy. I've gradually started to gain the confidence. I started wearing my hair down when i just go to the local shop. I met my friend there and she said that i look really good. And that really boosted my confidence. I think the the way to do it is to make sure you feel pretty inside and out. And don't rush anything take it step by step. Hope this helps you and know you know that your not alone.

I never wear my hair down?

You just need to get used to it, habits are hard to break. Start out wearing it down in the morning and leave your hairbands at home. make an effort to style your hair in the morning and feel confident about it when you walk out of the house. PLUS studies show men find women who wear their hair down more attractive than women who do not.

Hair Question?

Hey guys, okay the other day i went to the hair dresser and got my hair cut. The hair dresser cut it about 1 to 2 inches to short. =( I really want it to grow back, it looks ugly. So how long will it take for my hair to grow 1 inch longer?

Hair Question?

It's difficult to say, as hair grows at different speeds for different people, but I'd say between one and two months. I know it can feel like forever when you're waiting for it to grow out, but if you really dislike it you could either put some colour in it to take the emphasis off the style, or change your clothes/accessorise more to draw attention away from it in that way (I was going to say 'or buy a cool hat', but I didn't want to sound rude). There are vitamins/tablets that you can get in health food shops that claim to speed up the growth of hair/nails, but I can't advise you there because it's not something that I've ever tried.

How can I emulate this hair-cut/style/dye-job?

http://myspace-784.vo.llnwd.net/00466/48...

I prefer responses from professional or experienced hair-dressers, but any help is welcome:

What method or how can I acheive the style above, and how do I mimic the blonde streaks/chunks? I plan on dyeing the part that is blonde in the above picture blue, as well.

If I brought this picture to a hair salon, would they be able to easily produce a similar cut, and how difficult would it be for me to dye my hair dark brown, bleach out streaks, and dye these blue?

Any tips, please.

How can I emulate this hair-cut/style/dye-job?

Okay you will have to have in your haircare army at home a flat iron and some wax, spray wax would be easier for you, but either way it'll work the same.

The cut would be fairly easy to re-produce, it'll never look exactly like the picture, but it can come close if you goto a good hair stylist. Basically its a medium length bob with short wispy layers. Ask them for lots of texture, and layers.

The color, essentially its about a lever 4 dark brown all-over color, not too much red, that will be the hard part for it not to be red and not to pull green/ash.

The hi-lites are chunky foils throughout the back and top.

Wouldn't be too hard for someone with a lot of foiling experience.

You would be able to do the blue also easily after bleaching them down, just know it won't hold in the hair long and they will turn a funny shade of light blue in a few weeks.

The style rocks, I wish I could do it for you! Looks like fun!

How can I emulate this hair-cut/style/dye-job?

first of all,, do you have thin straight hair? seems that is what the girl in the photo has.

How can I emulate this hair-cut/style/dye-job?

wow! That is really cute!

How to survive a bad hair cut!?

I went to the hair dressers to get just a TRIM. she ended up giving me a whole new style by putting in layers, and the layers are GROSS! It looks like she literally took pieces of my hair and cut it different lengths. And, on top of all that, its WAY too short! How long until my hair settles in and starts to grow back, so u can't see all of the different length of pieces of my hair??!?!?!

And in the mean time, what can i do to my hair? i can't leave it down or else I will looks like a SHRED HEAD!

Thanks everyone!!!!! =D

How to survive a bad hair cut!?

Hair grows 1/8"-1/4" of an inch a month (or so the books say) so that's how fast it's going to grow out. I would recommend going to see a different stylist and have them texture your hair. texturizing is also a thinning process, but it helps blend layers. a lot of stylists use this tool on boys/mens haircuts to blend it all in. i actually use it quite often on myself to thin out my hair, and most of the time, when i have my hair cut, it's too choppy for me, so i take some texturizing shears to it and fix the issue.

How to survive a bad hair cut!?

oh no!! a bad hair cut is one of THE worst things that can happen to any one because it takes a long time to grow it back out, especially if your like me and you hair only grows 1/2 in. per year! If you can afford it, get a weave or extentions, hell, even those new jessica simpson clip in extentions would work! There is no price to fix bad hair, just GO FOR IT! lol

How to survive a bad hair cut!?

Go see a different hairdresser. Tell them what it is about your cut that you do not like, and tell them how you want it to look once it starts growing out. Ask them for a couple of different options before they do anything to your hair. Hopefully they will be able to give you something you can work with while you grow your hair out. Good luck.

How to survive a bad hair cut!?

Time to try ponytails %26amp; hats. Try different products to poof your hair. I would try teasing your hair-it hides some of the layers. The tough thing about growing out layers is that you have to keep trimming till they all reach one length. Safe to say a month. Try eating jello-my friend swears by it. Her hair grows so fast. Must be the horse hoof that jello is made from.

How to survive a bad hair cut!?

your best bet would be to go see another hair dresser and have them cut it again even tho its already too short.. it looks bad cuz its a bad cut not necessarily cuz its a bad length.. also ask what the best product would be to use so that your hair grows back healthy and quick! just ask a pro, they know best.. good luck!

How to survive a bad hair cut!?

I, too, am suffering the effects of a wretched hair cut. I've never felt so ugly: I cried for a week solid. It went from just above my rump up to just above the ears (no ponytails for me). Anyhow, here's what I've been doing to make my hair grow faster: taking prenatal vitamins, using growth promoting shampoo %26amp; conditioner like Mane %26amp; Tail, daily scalp massages to stimulate the hair folicles, drinking lots of water %26amp; exercising (which improves circulation, thereby improving blood flow to the folicles). I also have clip-in extensions for special events. All this I garnered from copious websites %26amp; blogs dedicated to righting the wrongs of a hair horror.

I also have adopted the mantra: "It's just hair. It'll grow."

Good luck. I feel your pain.

What is the difference between a point cut, slither and razored hair cut??

i have really long hair, and i want to get my hair cut a little. I am very low maintenance. I dont straighten my hair or anything, i take good care of it and I want to get a good haircut that will look good without the need of styling it. please tell me what would be best: fringe in the front that is razored, slithered or point cut??? what is least maintenace and what requires the most styling to look good? it seems that hair dressers often times want to razor hair...please help me....I also want nicole richie side bangs that are still long but angled to the side. So many times i got a bad hair cut and i blame myself for being unknowledged. this time i want to be happy so i want to ask for the right thing before i go...should i get layers?? what kind of layers are best??? please help. thanks~~

:)

What is the difference between a point cut, slither and razored hair cut??

the best way to teach yourself about hair is to look these up on google.

not because i'm lazy, but because the answer spaces are small. and if i answer this i'm just going to get it from google too.

also look up face shapes and hair styles.

keep in mind that you get what you pay for. if you're paying for a Cheap hair cut it's going to look like a cheap hair cut.

if you are willing to shell out a little more money you're going to end up with a nicer hair cut. Because well trained stylists work for more money.

What is the difference between a point cut, slither and razored hair cut??

All 3 of those are for blending the layers a razor wouldn't work for curly hair because it would frizz it up slither cutting you slide the scissor down the hair and point cutting is focused mostly on the ends

What is the difference between a point cut, slither and razored hair cut??

Just get an inverted bob. It's hot...

My hair is a mess I got it cut today thinking I would look better. Was I mistaken?

Went for a hair cut at a good reputable salon.I had beautiful long copper blonde colored hair %26amp; expected to come out looking better than I came in.Boy am I disappointed will probably cry myself to sleep what can I do .I specifically asked for a long layered look with long bangs whispped to the side. We had a live model there for her to copy from. My hair is cut below the ear on both sides now%26amp; cut straight across shoulder length in the back. It flips up %26amp; the layers are not nice at all don't flow into each other at all %26amp; one side is a bit longer than the other. She back combed %26amp; hair sprayed hair into place even while I was telling her that wasn't really what I wanted it didn't look at all like I had asked. All the hair dressers said how cute it was except for my friend that was there with me .Whats the sense in my complaining she's not doing my hair again %26amp; it would only make her feel bad if I said something so I bit my tongue .Paid %26amp; left I'm fit to be tied....

My hair is a mess I got it cut today thinking I would look better. Was I mistaken?

I've paid %26amp; tipped for a bad hair cut. It was traumatic.

Like the others said, talk to the owner or manager of the salon. Be prepared %26amp; know what you want (i.e. a refund or a cut w/ a different stylist or some hair products, etc.) You're right about not letting that same hair dresser near your hair again.

The safest thing to do is probably just to have the ends trimmed as little as possible to even things out and minimize the damage.

My hair is a mess I got it cut today thinking I would look better. Was I mistaken?

You should not have paid...you did not get the services you asked for so why should you pay? Obviously they aren't really as good a salon as you heard...I'm sorry, go somewhere else and see if they can fix it...

My hair is a mess I got it cut today thinking I would look better. Was I mistaken?

your good! i would've spoke up and i would not have paid her for her terrible services just get a wig

My hair is a mess I got it cut today thinking I would look better. Was I mistaken?

You definately shouldnt have paid, if u told her that you didnt like it and she went ahead styling or didnt offer to fix it somehow then she deserves to feel bad lol. Iv had a few bad experiences with hair cuts, u can always go to another salon and have them try and show you a way to style it so that it looks better, or just wear it up for awhile, it will grow out faster then u think dont worry.

My hair is a mess I got it cut today thinking I would look better. Was I mistaken?

You should go back and just say your not happy, I wouldnt have paid if you brought a live model and it didnt look anything like it!!! Talk to the manager and get your money back or another free cut to fix it, but not by the same lady, usually the Head Stylist does the fix ups anyway!!!

My hair is a mess I got it cut today thinking I would look better. Was I mistaken?

I would have done the same thing to be honest...but it would have been better to say that you did NOT like it (before paying) and having maybe someone else there fix it...

My hair is a mess I got it cut today thinking I would look better. Was I mistaken?

First of all did your hairstylist speak English or was there a lack of communication?

If that wasn't the case then...

Maybe you got a bad haircut because you gave her attitude and she really doesn't want to see you again either.

My hair is a mess I got it cut today thinking I would look better. Was I mistaken?

Hey!!

Yah..I know that feeling..and it sucks..But maybe some time to adjust will help..Wash your hair.. then restyle it.. If you still don't like it when you get used to the change..Try going somwhere else and tell them specifically what happend..tell them that if they can't do igsactly how you asked this time that you don't want it done..They will understand..There people too... Good job on keeping your cool..That takes a strong person to do that...

Good luck hun!

My hair is a mess I got it cut today thinking I would look better. Was I mistaken?

Call the salon tomorrow and ask for the owner...tell her your experience, don't let them walk all over you....if you are under 18, they can get in trouble for cutting your hair with out your parent there, have mom call and have a fit...if the the owner won't help tell them you are contacting the state attorney generals office to file a complaint as well as better business bureau, and really do it....you can do it on line. Trust me...your states attorneys generals office will straighten them out and fast...only did it once, and boy I got results! Your hair will grow...I know it sucks, but it will grow...good luck!

My hair is a mess I got it cut today thinking I would look better. Was I mistaken?

SAME SITUTATION GOIN ON RITE HERE its probably the way they blowdried it but i share your feelings this very instant

My hair is a mess I got it cut today thinking I would look better. Was I mistaken?

Hey don't fell bad if you don't like it,then look for another hair style and cut it, maybe it will be shorter but it will look hot !you know summer is coming. besides us girls have to change our looks onece in a while so that we don't look boring- but really it only count what we fell and think about our selves.

My hair is a mess I got it cut today thinking I would look better. Was I mistaken?

i don't know what your modles hair was but not every one can't where the same hair style as another . I think next time you should look at some hair books and if they have aface that is shaped like yours and hair texture like yours go for that time of style. for now if you wash your hair and it still don't look close to what you wanted then go in they will fix it for you i"m sure , dont worrie . they really rather do that for you if they are a good salon. good luck

"emo/scene" hair what to ask a hair dresser?

I've been wanting to get one of these emo/scene hair cuts because my girlfriend likes guys like that. So what do I ask the hair dresser? And I like that style as well

"emo/scene" hair what to ask a hair dresser?

bring in a picture of what you want you hair to look like and they will match it almost exactly

*just b/c your gf likes it doesn't mean you haveta do that its your hair not hers*

"emo/scene" hair what to ask a hair dresser?

You should bring her a picture instead.

When I tried describing what I wanted to my hairdresser last time I got my hair cut, it ended up coming out so bad, I cried and got my money back as well as a gift.

Just print out what you want and show her, that's really the best way.

Hair Dresser Austin Texas?

I'm new to town and desperately need a good hair dresser for cuts and colors any suggestions?

Hair Dresser Austin Texas?

I have a FANTASTIC one for you. I switched to go to him and have never had a better cut. His name is Kelly Orr at Salon U 512.266.4010. I am a Realtor and send him lots of clients who move to town. All are extremely happy...he does one of the news anchors hair too. The only catch? He's in Lakeway but it's worth the 20 minute drive...and it give me an excuse to get out to Lake Travis every 3 weeks! I hope you'll give him a try.

Helpp!! My hair cut..?

i got a hair cut yesterday and now my hair is completely MESSED UP. I asked for layers that started at my chin and the hair dresser made some layers start at my eyebrows =\

so now my hair is bigger at the top

and skinnier at the bottom

and it looks weirddd =\

how can i fix this w/o getting it cut again??

and it doesnt look bad when i straighten it but i dont wanna straighten my hair every day **

Helpp!! My hair cut..?

i know exactly what u mean because my hair dresser has done a whole bunch of times. ummm can you put your hair up still??? if u can then just pit it up the days that you don't want to straighten it. It looks perfectly fine if you put it up without straightening it.

Helpp!! My hair cut..?

i know what u mean, hair dressers do that sometimes! if u dont wanna straighten it EVERY day, try straightening it the night before, thats what i do! hope this helps!

Helpp!! My hair cut..?

Wow, make sure next time that the hair dresser knows what you want and be firm about it. Don't be nasty, be polite, but be firm about what you want.

I agree with answer one, straighten it at night, and don't worry, your hair will grow out again eventually.

One trip to the hair dresser?

in one trip to the hair dresser can i get my hair cut, dyed brown, and get blonde highlights?!? the same day*

thanks!!

One trip to the hair dresser?

You should be able to, but make sure your hairdresser knows that's what you want so she has enough time to do it all.

One trip to the hair dresser?

One trip to the hair dresser?

One trip to the hair dresser?

One trip to the hair dresser?

One trip to the hair dresser?
