if i printed that and showed a hair dresser.. would they be able to cut it or do i need a different picture?

that picutre is enough to let the stylist know what look youre going for, but they may make a few slight changes like cutting angles/weight displacement for it to suit your hair and face better. the cut will look almost identical, but theyll make it fit you perfectly *atleast a good stylist will*. kinda like breaking in a new pair of shoes, just the tiny things that make the difference that theyll do for you.

They could probably replicate a style from that picture or a similar one, though most good hairdressers will take into account your own face shape, hair body and texture, and either suggest adaptions that could be made or make the cut slightly different to suit you.

That should be just fine. To be safe, you could find one more picture, possibly from behind so they can see it. As the other person said, a good hairdresser will take in account the shape of your face and so on.
