I swear now that notice the difference if the hair dresser cut my bangs for me, it grows faster then self cut. I wish I never did that!

Ahh, i have been victim to this as well. I dont recommend cuting your own bangs because you dont see the level she does. It's really easy to cut too short, if you did, clip them back in a cute twist and work it out!! They will grow back! If you cut them yourself and it works for you, keep on going!

I have seen more people mess up their own bangs to the point of not being able to save them than I can remember. Most salons don't charge for bang trims, so just get it done right and then you don't have to worry about it.

I would say yes. To a trim, not a cut. Keep the style that the hairdresser gave you, just trim it. A big mistake is people try and make their fringes to "wide" ie: all the way across the forehead. This looks weird. Also if your hair is damp make sure you cut longer than you want - you can always cut more off later, growing it back might take a while...
